Position Details

Work as therapeutic support staff in a classroom for children with Autism Spectrum and other related developmental disorders! ​
  • ​Part-time contract position
  • Candidates will undergo training on: 
    • The basics of Autism & ABA
    • Managing Challenging Behaviors
  • Compensation based on education and level of experience at an hourly rate
  • Eligible for participation in staff bonus and incentive programs

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children with special needs preferred
  • Superior interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively while also working independently 
  • 18 years or older
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
  • Able to pass an extensive background check
  • Must provide references

Job Duties
  • Support the group leader and assist in facilitating group activities
  • Collect data on individual camper goals
  • ​Maintain camper safety
  • Assist campers as needed with self-help skills
    • toileting, dressing, and lunch
  • Deliver reinforcers and BRING THE FUN!
